quantity of diving equipment, including drysuits, cylinders,
regulators, reels and fins, was recoverd. Police believe that
the items were stolen from divers using diving centres in
Weymouth and Portland. Divers who have had equipment stolen
from the Weymouth and Portland area are asked to visit West
Weymouth police station, Radipole Lane, Weymouth between 2pm
and 7pm on Thursday 15 July or 9am and 5pm on Friday 16 July
where the equipment will be on show.

I found a pair of yellow Mares fins a couple of weekends ago
at Stoney Cove.. they were sitting together just off the ledge
at around 12mtrs.. are these yours? I left them with the shop
and am trying to ascertain how they got there.. please let me
know if you know anything about these...

Bit of a long shot I know, anyway on a night dive last friday
I lost an Oceanic wrist mounted compass under the very end of
the new pier.
You can tell it is mine as I rubbed of the double red luber
line and drew on a single black line.
If found I will gladly pay postage etc.

Torch found at Abbs 11th June 2000 in very good condition,
must have been lost from a boat dive due to its location.

Found in PORTLAND harbour near the wreck of the "LANDING
CRAFT" a mask with corrective lenses and snorkel, call julian
on 0171-624-8884 and tell me what is written on the snorkel or
give me details about the mask and its all yours. It looks
expensive so please if anybody knows who lost it im sure they
would love it back....
