DSAC Portland 2013 25, 26 and 27 May 2013 (Late May Bank Holiday Weekend)
Dunstable BSAC have 3 places available for diving from the Tango (Sports or Rescue Diver and above, max 12 divers) for the 3 days. No specific dive sites chosen yet – rough outline is 30m dive followed by drift or shallower dive - so if anyone has any preference ………. Personally I’d quite like to forage for some scallops to go with our traditional Saturday night BBQ.
We are a very friendly Club with a great reputation for training and encouragment of diving and are always pleased to welcome divers from any agency.
I have reserved 2 x 8-berth caravans at Pebble Bank, a short drive from the Tango berth.
As far as cost is concerned I suggest you work on around £50-£60 for the 3 nights in a caravan and about £150 for the Tango, dependent upon numbers. Usually we have a kitty for breakfast / sandwich lunches and for a BBQ on the Sat night. As ever I would be keen to do a afternoon and/or night dive on the Friday if we can identify a suitable shore dive site bearing in mind the weather!
