Colin Osborne, PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and founder of The Orchid Cancer Appeal, “We are all saddened at the postponement of this event. The team and I would like to thank everyone who has helped us to get where we are – all our sponsors, the support team, the dive boats, the press and everyone else. I cannot emphasise enough the amount of work and training that has got us to this point when the ONLY thing that could have stopped us achieving this fantastic feat did – the weather.

We will be back in the summer, so please do not forget us! 10,000 mm Under the Sea will take place next year.
Whilst we have spent this year training, a number of you have been very kindly supporting us by purchasing a raffle ticket. The Diving Raffle was held on Monday 19th September in St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London, and I am delighted to announce the following winners;

As well as breakthrough research into these killer diseases we produce leaflets and videos to educate men on what to look out for so they can get medical attention as quickly as possible – early diagnosis is key.
