I was wondering if anyone knows of any dive centres in the UK that are based in enclosed waters and have wrecked ships/vessels to practice diving in? Does this kind of thing exist?

The best there is to offer is at Stoney Cove in the Midlands. This dive centre is based in an old flooded Quarry and boasts several underwater features which include a complete tug boat. you can find a web site if you search "stoney cove"

Capernwray diving centre in Cumbria has sunk loads of 'wrecks' you can dive on in their quarry - from memory these included a minesweeper and a helicopter - tho my fav was a set of wooden horses from the blackpool illuminations you could ride.

Theres details on Capernwray in the places to dive - inland section of this web site
